The Peter Lole team is delighted to announce that we have been acquired by Macbeth, one of the Thames Valley’s leading independent chartered insurance brokers, with Tracey Meaney, Director, and the team joining the market-leading business.
A shared ethos
Many of our clients know that last year we made the decision to sell what was essentially the ‘family business’.
The right culture was imperative for our long-standing, loyal team. We wanted a business that shares our passion for client service, as well as honesty and professionalism; to work, as we always have, as a partnership with our clients and suppliers. Independence was also important.
Despite a lot of interest in Peter Lole, as soon as we met with Paul Macbeth and Ben Butler, we knew Macbeth was absolutely the company we could see a future with, with common goals and shared vision.
For us, Macbeth’s drive and entrepreneurialism sets them apart as a major regional player. The firm was originally founded by Paul’s late father Malcolm in 1992, and he’s gone on to build a true legacy business, committed to developing local talent and investing in the community and local charities. An ethos we share entirely.
Expanding our client offer
With this move in place, our clients will now benefit from enhanced service offerings and expertise in many areas such as additional placing markets, as well as better access to the market . Added value platforms like employee benefits will also be available. And whilst bigger – we become a team of 45- we remain independent, which has always been so important to us.
We’re all very excited about our future and the benefits that this will bring to everyone.
